OUR PROGRAM

Our model was developed through decades of love, passion and hard work. A labor of love from the phenomenal lines we acquired at the establishment of our program and through years of reciprocity with other national established breeders. This small group was gracious enough to share with and teach us along the way (many of them veterans at Westminster) playing an integral role in how we developed and who we are today.​

THE IN a HOME BREEDING PROGRAM TM

Pioneering this model, Royal Flush Cavaliers is the creator of the In a Home Breeding Program™. Continuously evolving, we established this program over two decades ago in collaboration with our first contract family and our veterinarian. This innovative initiative places a dog with a (past) client family at no cost, with the expectation of  one to two litters from our girl's in their lifetime. It represents a kennel free and humane approach, prioritizing the contentment of our dogs and fostering customer loyalty and participation. Some foundational families remain integral to the program today, sharing their home with generations of their canine companions. We are honored to be an inspiration, as other breeders adopt our preferred techniques and embrace similar operating policies, a testament to the success of our approach.

WORKING WITH OTHER BREEDERS FOR THE GOOD OF THE BREED

We have helped several local breeders either establish or refine their breeding program through hands on teaching, protocol implementation, breeding and referrals to choice Cavalier breeders to enhance their current lines. This collaborative effort fosters the exchange of ideas and the infusion of new bloodlines, ultimately elevating the quality of the breeders' programs. Though personally disinterested we are the only known breeder to help board members of some elite Cavalier clubs get their foundation in these groups when many of their current colleagues would not entertain them. Our passion lies in working with fellow breeders, and we openly invite anyone interested to reach out and explore the possibilities of collaboration.

Our adorable Cavaliers have been featured in local publications, charity calendars, business logos, and even national ad campaigns, including TJ Maxx/Home Goods. Every dog featured in The Complete Cavalier Compendium is either one of our own or a puppy from our beloved Cavaliers. Many of our dogs are certified by Dog B.O.N.E.S. through trainer Michaela Collins, owner of OM Obedience and expert contributor to our Cavalier training book, Crowned Companion. They serve as therapy dogs in hospitals, schools, and nursing homes across New England and beyond. Our Cavaliers have found loving homes with amazing families throughout New England, the U.S., and abroad in Austria and Italy. Many share their homes with local business owners, renowned restaurateurs, Hollywood actors, producers, directors, reality TV stars, and professional athletes.

New England Patriots , Producer Ken Olin and actor Patricia Wettig, TV and Movie Actor EJ Joseph  VH1 reality stars and singer Brooke Graves are just a few of the proud owners of a Royal Flush Cavalier, or two!

Author, Consultant and Expert Contributor: Christine has authored several books on the breed including breed specific information and training books, and a children's series featuring a New England family and their adventures with their Cavalier King Charles Spaniel.  She is the author of two Amazon #1 Best Sellers:  The Complete Cavalier Compendium and Knox and Charles Go To England.  She also served as an expert contributor to other projects, including a nationally published Cavalier handbook.  Always working on new and exciting projects, we focus on breed specific information, collaborating with respected local specialists in each domain.  All of our books are available on Amazon and Barnes & Noble.

We voluntarily donate to charitable causes, and are happy to collaborate with charities, especially those that focus on children's welfare. While many organizations allocate funds to acquire puppies from breeders, we do not accept financial contributions from charities for our puppies. Our puppies are entirely donated, ensuring that those funds can be directed towards helping others.

If you or someone you know is associated with a licensed charity and is in search of a puppy, please don't hesitate to have that charity reach out to us. Cavaliers make the best companions, and we are happy to contribute to such endeavors.
