ABOUT ROYAL FLUSH CAVALIERS
Christine Vitolo is a specialist on Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, a multi-published author, expert contributor, seasoned breeder, and owner of Royal Flush Cavaliers. With more than 35 years of experience, she has raised generations of healthy, well-tempered Cavaliers and mentors aspiring breeders through her Cradle to Crown™ program. Her commitment to breeding and education has made her a trusted resource within the Cavalier community.
Christine is the author of the bestselling The Complete Cavalier Compendium and Knox and Charlie Go to England, and several additional Cavalier-focused books for both adults and children. She has developed and trademarked multiple breed-centered brands, created the Spotify podcast Cavs, Coffee & Cocktails™, and founded Cover Girl Cavaliers™, a canine modeling and animal acting program with her Cavaliers. For over three decades, Royal Flush Cavaliers has been dedicated to establishing an exceptional breeding program, driven by our passion for Cavaliers and our desire to share that passion with you. One last thing: You may see multiple addresses associated with Royal Flush Cavaliers. We divide our year between New England and Florida. Additionally, our primary occupation involves buying and renovating properties, commonly referred to as property flipping. Depending on the project's scope, we reside at the property while working on it, subsequently selling it, and moving on to the next one. We follow this routine in Florida and New England dividing our year. Our journey began in 1997 with a gift of $1000 from my father to assist with the purchase of our first property, and over the course three decades, we have acquired more than 400 properties, and counting. It's important to note that through all of these years our website, email address, and phone number have always remained the same so that our clients can reach us anytime.
HOW WE OPERATE WITH COMPASSION AND WITHOUT COMPROMISE

With decades of breeding experience, we’ve produced multiple generations registered with the AKC, built on bloodlines we’ve carefully cultivated over time. Early on, we recognized that dog breeding often involves gray areas. When you're committed to preserving specific bloodlines, it becomes necessary to hold back certain dogs, even when their parents are still young or in their prime. It's easy for situations like this to spiral out of control, raising real concerns about the quality of life for dogs living in overcrowded or poorly managed environments. Unfortunately, the challenges of kennel management and the need to re-home aging dogs are unpleasant realities for many breeders and the dogs in their care, practices that didn’t align with our values.
After evaluating the needs of the breed and exploring alternative approaches, we created our distinctive In a Home Breeding Program™. This model avoids keeping all of our dogs in a traditional kennel environment. The dogs living at our location are either permanent companions or occasional rehabilitation cases. Future breeding prospects are placed at 8 weeks of age with trusted past clients, where they grow up and remain as beloved family pets. When they reach breeding age, they return to us to be bred and whelp their puppies, then go back to their families to continue living full, happy lives.

We decide which puppies will be held back for the future of our breeding program.
We contact our client and place the dog free of charge with the right to breed in the future.
GIRLS: are placed on a contract for just 1 or 2 litters in their lifetime.
When of age, they are brought back to us for breeding and then the whelping of their puppies.
The puppies are raised in home for our clients and then the mom returns back to her home.
BOYS: are placed on annual contracts since it's not the same physical investment as pregnancy.
Boys are called over when stud service is needed and they return home within a day or two.
YOU HAVE NO FURTHER OBLIGATION ONCE THE CONTRACT HAS BEEN FULFILLED.
We're grateful to the families that participate in this program because it allows us to conduct our program in the best way possible. It also allows the families in our In a Home Breeding Program TM to oversee the health and breeding of our dogs as well. This protocol allows the dogs to live their lives as pets while giving us the option of continuing lines that we've worked with for years. We want to address misinformation circulated by a competitor attempting to create confusion about our identity and affiliations. Royal Flush Cavaliers operates independently and has no connection to any other business using the “Royal Flush” name. I met Ms. Anderson in 1998 and we briefly collaborated until 2004, something I have done with many breeders over the years and still do to this day. I have always retained sole ownership of the Royal Flush Cavaliers name and website, and I haven't spoken to Ms. Anderson in over 20 years.
It is disappointing to see competitors resort to misleading claims rather than improving their own programs, an approach often taken when merit alone falls short. To be clear, there is no shared operation or business structure. “Royal Flush” is a common, non-trademarked phrase, thousands of companies use it without affiliation. In these bizarre campaigns we have also noted the confident use of freelage terminology to describe Royal Flush, a claim that is, at best, imaginative. Such claims reflect either a continued effort to mislead or a misunderstanding of basic business definitions. Either way, the irony doesn't go unnoticed.
