Starting out in breeding can feel isolating — especially when many breeders refuse to collaborate or, worse, mock those who do. Pride in your own program is one thing, but shaming professional partnerships is another.  At Royal Flush Cavaliers, we proudly collaborate with a trusted network of co-owners, guardians, and fellow breeders to ensure every dog receives exceptional care and thoughtful placement. Our extended team includes Christine — breeder, author, and founder of Royal Flush Cavaliers — alongside a nurse practitioner, a retired NICU specialist from Women & Infants Hospital, a cherished local family with nearly 30 years in grooming and boarding, and a Tampa-based husband-and-wife training team with elite credentials. Their experience spans supervising USCG explosive detection canines, training ATF working dogs, earning national obedience titles, and producing the acclaimed documentary Dogs to Diapers.

At Royal Flush Cavaliers, we believe collaboration strengthens the breed — not the opposite. Isolating rhetoric and prideful posts may be crafted to impress, but they’re often red flags. True integrity in breeding isn’t about doing it all alone; it’s about doing it right, with ethics, transparency, and shared purpose.  We’re proud to be part of a responsible, supportive community that puts the dogs first.

We don’t just breed — we mentor, guide, and empower others who share our mission of preserving the Cavalier’s health, temperament, and legacy for generations to come.  That’s why we’ve created a hands-on mentorship program designed to support you at every stage, whether you're just getting started or looking to elevate an established breeding program. You can begin your breeding journey in the way that best suits your goals and lifestyle—either with your own female or by choosing to enter into a co-ownership with one of our exceptional, well-bred females. Each of our girls has been thoughtfully bred for health, temperament, and beauty, and we’ll work closely with you to evaluate compatibility, ensuring your foundation is not just strong, but truly exceptional.

We take the time to assess each dog’s individual suitability for breeding, including health evaluations and an honest look at temperament and conformation. Our goal is to set you up for success right from the start—so your experience as a breeder is both fulfilling and aligned with the highest standards.

In addition, we offer access to our outstanding stud service, with proven, health-tested males available in every Cavalier color. Each of our studs has been selected not only for their genetics and health but also for their temperament, beauty, and consistency in producing healthy, happy puppies that truly represent the best of the breed.  No matter where you begin, we’ll help you build, backed by our experience and  support.

Mentorship with Integrity
As your mentor, I’ll be by your side every step of the way—offering hands-on guidance, personalized support, and the kind of practical insight that only comes from decades of real-world experience. My goal is not just to teach you how to breed, but to show you how to do it with heart, and a deep respect for the breed.

You won’t be alone in this journey. You’ll also gain access to a network of amazing veterinarians who work with me and fully understand the specific needs and sensitivities of Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. These professionals are more than just partners—they’re an essential part of the program, providing expert care, preventative health planning, and continued support to ensure the well-being of your dogs and future litters.

Together, we’ll navigate every part of the process—from planning and preparation, to pregnancy and whelping, to placing happy, healthy puppies in wonderful homes—with confidence and care.

Support from Mating to Placement
From planning your very first litter to raising and placing your puppies, our mentorship program goes far beyond the basics. We provide step-by-step guidance, helping you navigate the entire process with confidence, care, and professionalism. Our goal is to empower you with the tools, knowledge, and support you need to become a breeder who makes a lasting impact on the breed—and on the families who welcome your puppies into their lives.

Our mentorship includes:

Health testing and pairing recommendations
Whelping support and hands-on guidance for puppy care
Socialization tips and early training foundations to help puppies thrive
Assistance in placing your puppies with the best-suited families
Strategies for building long-lasting, meaningful relationships with your clients

But our support doesn’t end there.

As part of our mentorship program, we proudly introduce you and your dog to our extended community of Cavalier lovers and potential clients. We announce our partnership across our social media platforms and website, giving our followers the opportunity follow your journey, and watch the exciting development of your puppies from birth to placement.

This not only builds trust and anticipation—it creates an emotional connection between you and future puppy families, long before they ever meet in person. When the time comes for placement, we'll meet with each family personally, providing a warm, reassuring transition and allowing new owners to connect with the breeder who lovingly raised their new family member.  Giving them the opportunity to meet your mom and our dad.
